1. Repair rubber blanket roll marks
Regarding the repair of the blanket stamping marks, it was introduced in the “Printing Technology” magazine in 2003. Two methods, the blanket reducing agent and the double-sided adhesive tape, can be used. This not only costs less, but also has quick results. However, these two methods also have many defects. For example, after wiping with a rubber cloth reducing agent and printing thousands of sheets, the rubber layer at the stamped mark will sag again, which may have to be repeated several times. , I feel that the thickness is a little too large (at least ten threads), the printed flat screen is generally not smooth, there are always traces of repair, and the operation is also a bit troublesome.
The above two methods will affect the quality of goods to different degrees. Later there was a good way to replace them with scotch tape. In practice, the same thing is to first remove the rubber blanket that has been crushed, draw a mark on it, and then use scissors to cut a small piece of scotch tape that is slightly larger than the mark and paste it directly on the mark. Because the scotch tape is very thin, the thickness is only about four threads. If one layer is not enough, you can add another layer or two layers, but you must cut small points in sequence so that there are no hard edges on the edges, and then install the blanket. . The advantage of choosing this method is that the size and shape of the scotch tape are determined by the rolling marks, and it will be successful as soon as you cut and paste.
Two, post the printing plate trailing crack
In manual plate-loading machines, because the tightening plate screws may not be tightened, after printing thousands or tens of thousands of sheets, the trailing tip of the printing plate will appear cracks, and gradually increase, until the operator is forced to change the plate, causing certain Spoiled. In this case, you don’t need to change the plate, but first wipe the ink and water marks at the crack of the printing plate trailing tip, and then use the wide transparent tape to directly put the crack of the printing plate together with the plate holder firmly. In this way, printing can continue without affecting the quality of the product. Of course, this method is best for timely operation when the printing plate is just cracked. If the crack is too long, it cannot be completely relied on transparent tape for attachment. If it can’t be delayed, the version has to be changed. This method has the most significant effect on short editions, and it can be dealt with in an emergency, without the need to stop the machine to change the edition, and the printing can be completed.
